Three physicians. Five atheletes, business professionals and educators.
A dedicated crew.

And 3,000 miles of desert, mountains and plains.

Are you up for that? This is what the Docs & Jocks team will face June 16-25 as they ride competitively across the continental United States to raise awareness about childhood obesity.

Start: Oceanside, California.
Finish: Annapolis, Maryland.
With 10,000 ft. mountains and yawning deserts in between.

Led by Dr. Paula Gustafson,

director of the Major Easy 3 childhood obesity prevention initiative, the Docs & Jocks team is also raising funds to help spread the word during and after the June race. Check out the “Contribute” box to the left for more information.

Team members will be blogging the experience – good or bad, dry or wet, cold or hot – during the nine-day event, so check our Facebook page for links or subscribe here.

Remember, left unchecked, childhood obesity is a killer. So let's support our team of Docs & Jocks as they cross America to help stop this epidemic.
